A sound bath is a relaxation technique in which various tools or instruments such as gongs, crystal and metal singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments are used to "bathe" the participants in sound waves and vibration.
This auditory and sensory experience helps the client achieve a meditative and restful state of relaxation.
Sound baths are also sometimes referred to as sound meditations, sound journeys, or vibroacoustic massages (there is no massage involved).

A sound bath is done fully clothed. Clothing should be comfortable enough to lie on a yoga mat (in most cases). It is recommended that shoes be removed, however that is client preference.
At Heart Space we provide all items needed. That includes yoga mats, blankets, neck rolls, and eye pillows. Some clients choose to bring additional items such as personal pillows, blankets, etc. If you feel like your favorite blanket will enhance your experience we are all for it!
